Collection of Personal Information

RCC Group business provide a range of services, including business consulting and ancillary services, recruitment and labour hire, and National Disability Insurance Scheme Supports and provide systemic advocacy and information in relation to disability rights & inclusion and available supports & services.

 

Information we may collect

The information we may collect will depend on the nature your relationship with us, such as a RCC Group customer, employee, job applicant, a health or disability support provider or other third party (such as an existing or potential business partner). The Information we collect for RCC Group customers will further depend on the type of services and/or products that we provide to you and how you engaged with us such as online form, social media, phone and email communications.

We may collect personal information about or relating to you when you have engaged with us such as:

  • Your name, contact details, government identifiers, gender, residency and visa details, employment & income information details, bank account and other financial information, information relating to the use of our services and products, services, websites, and applications.
  • Where recruitment, labour hire and/or business consulting and ancillary services are applicable, information relating to your business including financial, employee & applicants’ personal information, standard operating practices, policies & procedures, intellectual and/or proprietary information or property, and other information as required relative to the services being provided to you.
  • If you are receiving NDIS Supports information relating to your health and disability diagnosis, physical and/or mental health support needs, details of your authorised representative, informal support network, support coordinator and other health care and services providers including names and contact details.

 

How we collect this information

We collect this information when you provide it, when you visit our websites, social media or other online platforms, sign up to receive services or products as RCC Group customer, use or receive our services and/or products, send or receive communication including via phone, email, or snail mail. For employees or potential employees of RCC Group, we may collect your personal information during your application process and throughout your employment term. We may also collect information about you from third parties or other approved persons where appropriate and you have provided consent for us to do so.

If you are a health care or disability support provider, we may collect your personal information from databases and directories to support our business processes, investigate complaints, incidents or to conduct fraud-prevention checks if required to do so in carrying out our services or compliance programs.

We may use technology and other tools to capture information such as IP and server address when a computer or device has accessed our content. The tools used are services and products from search engines and other third parties used to improve our services and product offerings for current and future RCC Group customers. This includes information about your geographical location and preferences relating to you use of these tools by connected computers and devices used or controlled by you. 

 

If you chose not to provide us with your personal information

It is your right to choose whether to provide us with your personal information or not. In instances where you have not provided your personal information, or you have withdrawn your consent. Consent is the primary legal authority for using, storing or sharing your personal information, we may be limited or unable to provide you with our services or products, contact you, process your request, employment application or respond to a complaint or incident.

  • In providing you advice or services in relation to business consulting and ancillary services.
  • In providing you with NDIS supports including community access and group activity supports
  • To administer, monitor, report and improve RCC Group services, products and business offerings.
  • To train, support and manage our employees and agents.
  • In processing and accessing your employment application where you apply.
  • To undertake and handle complaints, incidents and report to regulators or legal authorities as required by law.
  • Operating and managing media and social engagement programs where you can share your information publicly and with us on the relevant applicable terms
  • Engaging with you for a business or professional relationship
  • To undertake any required police, background, or credit checks or other identification verification including employment and educational history and employment references.
  • To comply with our obligations under federal, state and local legislation.
  • Undertaking quality assurance assessments using data analytics including de-identified data
  • To maintain data integrity and accuracy

We ensure that we have the legal authority to collect, use and store your personal information in the following ways:

In using and storing your personal information we may disclose your personal information including outside the country of collection were permitted by legal authority, this includes:

  • In providing you NDIS supports: your formal and informal support providers and networks including Authorised Representatives, Medical Practitioners, NDIS Support Coordinators and Plan Managers, the National Disability Services Agency, the NDIS Commission, family, friends and other persons or government agencies.
  • Third parties such as agents, contractors, consultants and service providers providing business services including data processors, analysts, information technology providers and auditing firms.
  • To any authorised intermediaries, representatives or person acting on your behalf.
  • In providing you with recruitment or assessing an application for a client employment vacancy: to potential employees or employers, authorised representative, employment referee or other persons you have nominated.
  • In providing you with or engaging you for labour hire services: potential host employers or employees, authorised representative, employment referee or other persons you have nominated.
  • In providing you with business consulting or ancillary services, current and former employees and customers, business partners, agents and representatives.
  • To other companies in the RCC Group located in Australia.
  • Where applicable, any vetted third-party purchaser of our business or assets.
  • Debt collection agencies and other third-parties assisting with debt recovery activities.

 

Direct Marketing and personalisation

In undertaking our business activities and our continual improvement program we may use your personal information to offer and provided you information, marketing communications, offer or invitations for events, service and our products that we or our partners believe may be of benefit to you and in developing new services and products.
